Reality TV format “The Sims Spark’d” announced
A reality-TV format built on the Life game The Sims has been multiplayer by Electronic Arts, Eleague (Turner Sports), and Buzzfeed. In “The Sims Spark’d,” the players (“well-known Internet personalities”) develop unique stories, characters, and worlds on The Sims 4 (). The series is planned for four episodes where players compete in skill and elimination challenges to win the chance to win $100,000.
EA: “Contestants from The Sims community compete against each other to impress the renowned judges. The host of the show is an established TV star. Former American Idol finalist Rayvon Owen is the show’s host and has played The Sims himself since high school. Rayvon is along with 3 other judges who share their own Sims stories to this contest. The first participant is BuzzFeed YouTuber, a multiplayer Kelsey Impicciche, known for her series called #100babychallenge, which she developed in conjunction with The Sims. They are joined by musician and singer Tayla Parx, who voiced for The Sims game. She also recorded her hit song “Me vs. Us” in Simlish (game language) for The Sims 4 Become Famous expansion pack. The panelists are Maxis game designer Dave Miotke. Maxis is the studio that developed the series in which Miotke is better known within the gaming community as SimGuruNinja has been working for over 15 years. ”
The Sims Spark will air on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. TBS TBS until August 8. A repeat broadcast on that day’s broadcast at 5:15 p.m. The channel will serve as the main digital outlet, streaming every The Sims Spark’d episode on the Monday following the show (July 20-27, July, and the days of August 3 and 10).

The 12 contestants, all specialising in a specific aspect in The Sims, will be present in the initial episode. Additionally, the show will air on July 17, The Sims 4 will introduce a competition series called The Spark’d Challenge program. “Best Creators” will get the chance to take part in the future seasons of Spark’d.
