The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle: Ninth expansion pack released and more than ten million players per month
The Sims 4, the expansion Eco Lifestyle is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. With the 9th expansion package (price: 39.99 euros), the Sims can live a more sustainable life and understand how essential it is to cooperate as a community. To play the game, you must play the base game, and every game update is required.
Product description “The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle introduces the exciting life that is Evergreen Harbor, where Sims directly impact their surroundings. Sims start their journey to sustainable living in the slums of Grims Quarry, the mediocre Conifer Station, or a shabby Port Promise. Wherever they decide to reside, they can participate in various green activities, including making their power or water using renewable resources and cultivating their food with an enlargeable vertical garden, or using the reprocessor to transform unwanted items into usable parts. If you want to live an eco lifestyle to the next level, you can look in the dumpster for a TV or mattress and other items that can be recycled. ”
In the same vein, Maxis and Electronic Arts confirmed that The Sims 4 was played by more players than before the final quarter (January until March in 2020). In the past two months, more than 2.5 million players joined the game. With around ten million gamers per month during that quarter, The Sims 4 surpassed another record. The Sims 4 was released for PC in September of 2014. Conversions for consoles were released in November 2017.
“Our Team of Maxis have always committed to giving players the chance to express themselves through The Sims,” Explains Lyndsay Pearson, who is the executive producer and general manager for The Sims. “Over the last couple of months, we’ve seen The Sims 4 serve as an outlet for a lot of players. Our players have attended weddings, birthdays, and graduations within our game, and we’re looking at the ways they’ll use Eco Lifestyle.”
