Mountain Expedition in The Sims 4 Snowfields
The event is a new kind of social event called Mountain Expedition, that will be a true challenge for your character. It requires a strong and meticulous preparation from the participants.
The process of organizing a mountain trip
To begin an event, dial the phone, select the “Schedule an Event in Community” option, and select the Mountain Expedition in the event list. The cost for the event amounts to 200 Simuleons. The number of Sims which can travel to the mountains is limited to the maximum group size is four characters, ranging from teens to senior citizens. If you decide to play a role, it is necessary to select a guide and at least one other member of the group tour.
- Get canned food from vending machines or create protein or energy bars (requires levels 7, 9, or 10 climbing abilities)
- Bring an additional tent for several persons, and maybe you’ll require the rest, not just at the established base camp.
- Be sure that everyone in the group has the appropriate climbing experience. When you climb, you’ll encounter three medium-high and one high rock. You require at least a third-level skill level to climb medium walls and the sixth level of proficiency for climbing high ones. If your sim or group members’ skills in climbing aren’t developed enough, likely, they won’t be capable of climbing the wall. If this happens, you’ll most likely have to break the challenge and work on improving the ability before attempting again. You will require at minimum one character that you can control with a skill level at or above nine to complete the expedition in search of gold.
- Pay attention to the weather conditions. Thunderstorms, blizzards can make your journey more difficult. In addition, due to the ice drifts, Sims could slide off the cliffs and sustain injuries, rendering the climb even more difficult, or even die.
Stages of the Mountain Expedition
The Expedition is broken down into multiple phases, each requiring completing a particular number of tasks before moving onto the next. Each stage comes with an individual progress indicator, as expected from a normal event, and an agenda of tasks that you must finish to get the desired outcome. Each stage will take 60 minutes and six hours to finish.
It is worth noting that when you’ve installed The Path to Glory add-on installed and you are able to complete each stage, it will increase the character.
It is necessary to pass through all steps for your expedition to succeed. If you have to cancel the event for any reason, the event is a failure. There will be no reward and your sibling, and other team members will become unhappy. Additionally, every character will be affronted toward the leader of the expedition, including The following examples:

Be sure to be there for a while and enjoy the views – it’s worth the effort!
Cave on the summit of the mountain
Along the way to the top, you’ll be able to explore another cave. It’s obvious. However, it’s just to the left of the climb to the summit. It’s hidden behind the rocks that surround the cliff. Return to home
It is possible to stay up at the top of the mountain and take in the views for as long you’d like, particularly in the event that you establish your camp here. But eventually, you’ll have to leave. You can make use of your mobile (the “Depart” menu) or simply hit”M/B” on your keyboard “M/B” keys on your keyboard to take all of your group back home. Or such as, for instance, going to the onsen bathhouse to soak at the warm springs following an exhausting and long journey.
Mountain Tour Awards
If you reach the summit safely, based on your performance during each of the stages You’ll get the proper rewards such as simoleons, and new items from CAS – an mountaineering cap, a mountaineering shirt and bracelet.
However, for the time being, all award items available in CAS only come in one color version. However, there are many other options available in the game’s game files. We’ve had a similar issue previously – with regard to the award-related clothing in the Freelancer career option in the Ecological Life add-on. We hope that this can be fixed in future updates. For now, the situation can be corrected by installing a mod (download the variant Fogity_Unlocked_CAS_Parts_By_Category, the required file is in the folder Unsorted).
The leader of the expedition will be awarded, among other things, the “Intelligent climber” or “Experienced climber” award (depending on the grade that the event is at in its third phase of the competition). This award will aid his future expeditions and a stunning plate that resembles the mountain’s peak, which you can put on your wall in your home. If you tap on the scale, it will open. You will be able to select “Recall Views,” which will be available. The Sim will be given the “Memorable Views” mulet (confidence +2 for the duration of four hours).
